The little lady in the photo is a tribute to our family dancing.
I drew the primitive leaping shape on a piece of paper. I collected faces from junk mail and glued them on the shape. That took a while. Then I transferred the shape (with extra space on all sides) onto a small piece of plywood that was taking up space in our shed. I cut the shape out with a coping saw (small hand saw that is shaped like a 'd'). Sanded the wooden shape. Painted it with a few coats of white paint. I then glued the paper lady onto my wooden shape. And with a final coat of lacquer, she was done!
I don't know how she does it! She never seems to tire... And she does it all with a smile!
Happy Dancing!
I love it!! You did an amazing job. I love how she is just leaping in the air.
