OPPERDEPOP!
ReplyDelete(it's dutch, it means something like 'it's all finished'. I find myself saying this to my 15-month-old every time he finishes eating or drinking something... so that's at least 10 times a day!)
BTW, I lovelovelove your felt ice cream bucket thingy!
hetkabinet@ziggo.nl
Good morning, one of my favourite sayings at school is "If it isn't messy, it isn't fun!" and we certainly have lots of fun.
ReplyDeleteDear Michele,
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely giveaway, I adore the bucket. Lately what I say more often is: Don't touch please. MY son is in that age where anything wrong is right for him.
Thanks a lot,
Jess
mad about Pink
Haha - trust me to be the first...... I think my family will remember me for saying "If you are going to do a job do it properly - even if it is a cup of tea...."
ReplyDeleteYou've done such a lot in a short space of time and always fun to read...
Hugz
Hmm, my most-used saying is probably "can has" (as in cheezburger), but I love the saying "Ye gods and little fishes!"
ReplyDeleteemailbylili[at]mac.com
In Russian it is "ёлки-палки", in English something like "tree-sticks"
ReplyDeletekrysikya@yandex.ru
lovely giveaway!
ReplyDeletewe always say "what the wally" instead of "what the heck" at home - so cute when the kids say it!!
I think I probably say "Kids!!!!" most often. And then there is silence. And I call "Kids!!!!!" again. Silence. Then I start to hunt them down and ask why they don't respond. :)
ReplyDeleteI give a lot of unsolicited advice, followed by the words "I'm just sayin'".
ReplyDeleteI would say "oh how nice" many times in a day. I hope I can be in your giveaway - Thanks Michele, how nice of you - Hugs Nat
ReplyDeleteI will try my luck :) Thanks for th giveaway! I think that the words that I say most often during the day is 'go away'... that's for my two cats which simply looove to go in the places where they can't (behind the washing maschine, climbing on book shelves, sitting on an old TV...)...
ReplyDeleteI also have a giveaway on my blog if you like to visit :)
Best regards

Hmm, what do I say all the time? I think it would have to be "okey dokey". Oh boy, that's sounds so dorky - time to change up my vocabulary! Lol! It's fun to see what other people say! Thanks for the chance at your luscious loot, Michele!
ReplyDeleteI think my favorite saying is "oh my goodness", because now my 2 year old says it all the time :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!

Me gusta mucho tu blog Michel!!! Yo acostumbro a decir "Mecachis" cuando algo no funciona o no está bien, para que los niños no digan palabras feas.

I probably say "don't touch your sister" or "don't look at your sister" a dozen times a day. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance of a giveaway - love the decorated basket! I will say "Cool beans!" when I see something that makes me happy, then instead of Goodbye, I say "Later, alligator!". They respond back with "After a while, crocodile!". We just love to smile around here....

Mh... it's difficult... If the most often used would count it also belongs to my cats and it is the single word: No! And my cats are trained, they know what they are allowed and what not ^^ Nevertheless they try to make a lot of mischief and if I say they word, they will immediatly start cleaning themself (if that was all the indented to do) and look at me with such innocence.
ReplyDeleteBut in normal conversations (such you have with other people or yourself ;))... it is with variations: "That's the question..."
My favorite saying is "Be good." I have kids, so I use it alot!
ReplyDeleteMine is probably 'What a joke' - meaning quite the opposite, when something annoys me or I can't quite believe what I'm hearing or seeing - usually things on the news unfortunately!
ReplyDeleteFantastic giveaway - thanks for the chance!
So cute!My favorite saying this week has to be "don't touch the Christmas tree!" I have a one year old. Enough said! Thanks for the great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteprobably "WHAT"S GOING ON!" or "OH GOOSE!" come out of my mouth most often as I wrangle my two kids. *The youngest being nick named goose.* Great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI say "seriously?!?!" a lot because my boyfriend likes to say and do silly, ridiculous things to make me laugh. It's very welcome since I'm uber stressed out because of finals!
ReplyDeleteOkey Dokey, will do! My most said words and it's a habit I'm trying to change. Love your blog and what a great give away.
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to get my little girl to say "Holy Moly" instead of, well, something else that's not so nice. I've been playing Abduction on my phone and when I miss I've been saying "Phooey!"
ReplyDeleteHmmm...that would either be 'For reals.' or 'Just Say'n.' It's a toss up as to which one comes out most often! LOL! I absolutely LOVE this felt tub and everything else, too!!!!
ReplyDeletejinglesells at gmail dot com
"SERIOUSLY?"
ReplyDeletewhat lovely giveaway! we have 4 little ones, so i am always saying "quiet down!" :)
ReplyDeleteLove the giveaway items. When I heard "I'm just saying" coming out of my 13-year-old daughter's mouth, I knew it was time for me to come up with a new catch phrase!!!
ReplyDeletePenny
pwofford@triad.rr.com
"For the love of Pete!" This is such a sweet giveaway... thank you!
ReplyDelete(Found you through Sew Mama Sew)
Hmm, probably "Hey buddy..." since that's what I say when my little cat Murph slinks his way into the room. Good luck with your contest! My giveaway is at http://lindsaysews.com - lindsay.conner(at)gmail(dot)com
ReplyDeleteThat's a lovely giveaway, thanks for the chance!!
ReplyDeleteWhat I say everyday, everytime?
'Deus me dê paciência e um paninho bem grande para a embrulhar de umas vezes para as outras'!
In english should go something like this:
God give me patience and a large fabric to wrap it and last a few times!'
maybe "oh my"?no-i don't really know, haven't thought about it ;)
ReplyDeletelove these goodies you're giving away!
"To be honest"..
ReplyDeleteLove the giveaway!
gee whiz!
ReplyDeleteNot too interesting, I know.
What a genius idea for a giveaway! Not only a chance at the WONDERFUL Michele-made objets, but a great read through all the comments. I often let fly with "Fiddle dee dee, I'm not going to worry about that today!" Hope I win, but if I don't, now you know what I will say.
ReplyDeleteWe are from Kingston too :)
ReplyDeleteI find myself saying OMG all the time... and then my four year old said so time to stop!
http://commonthreadskingston.blogspot.com/
i have a 9 month old boy so i say "oh you're stinky" alot.
ReplyDeleteI probably say "it's raining" the most with "is it raining?" second. I recently moved to Western Washington from Southern California. I'm not used to this much rain. The giveaway items look great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delicious (calorie free) giveaway in an ice cream container. You are so, so clever. I wish I had something profound to share, but the thing I say most is "have a great day!".
ReplyDeleteI don't hear myself saying it that much, but I hear it come out of the kids' mouths all the time, so I must; being a Jersey Girl, I say "you guys" (meaning both girls and guys). Thanks for the chance at this great collection of goodies!
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately I think it's probably, "Lizzie, please stop that!" She's 3, what can I say? But aside from that, I think it's, "What the WHAT?" a la Liz Lemon on 30 Rock.
ReplyDeleteMy children are in their teens so it tends to be along the lines of "will you turn that racket down" !!
ReplyDeletei NEVER repeat myself ;) ... yeah right! probably something like -- "hi there"
ReplyDelete"I'm not gonna lie to you"...this giveaway is perfect! So many fun things!
ReplyDelete"Oh, for the love of Mabel!" Or if I'm feeling particularly exasperated, "Oh, for the love of Maybelline!"
ReplyDeleteLove the bucket :)
Seriously I randomly say "If we don't starburst the drazz out of here..."
ReplyDeleteUmmm yeah sci fi nerd. It takes the edge off of random worries though for sure with the silliness. :D
Hmm I am not sure probably "D___ (fill in with daughters name) go play no you can't watch more tv!
ReplyDeleteNot very exciting but I do say it MANY times a day.....GOOD GRIEF!!! Thatcraftybunny(at)gmail(dot)com ;) x
ReplyDeleteThank You!
ReplyDeleteMef from Italy :)
"so...here's the thing..." I dither a lot. My friends like to tease me about it... I have at least 4 'on the other hands'!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the link to the DIY covered buttons -- VERY useful!!!
Awesome Possum. How dorky is that!!!
ReplyDelete"How Random" I've been experiencing alot of randomness lately that all seem to tie in together. It's awesome. Thx for sharing your lovely giveaway goodies.
ReplyDelete"Ummmmm...seiously?!" and "ya know?" - Fun giveaway!
ReplyDeleteIt's a tie between "Seriously?" and "Dang!", both of which sound pretty stupid now that I've written them down...but you're missing out on my charming delivery! Your giveaway is super, super sweet - happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteWe have the same name ;) Anyhow my fav saying is (unfortunately): "Bloody hell!" Great giveaway. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteShut the door! That's my favorite saying.
ReplyDeleteI'd go with You don't say!
ReplyDeletemystica123athotmaildotcom
We've been using "Enough is as good as a feast" a lot.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway!
parknj at verizon dot net
I agree with Suzanne above - "Shut the door" probably comes out of my mouth the most.
ReplyDeleteStop! Stop! Stop! (Chasing my toddler around my aunts house where we live.... oy) Awesome give away!
ReplyDelete"Come in, Cinnamon" I have kids that are crawling into my bed on these cold days of winter. I say it alot.
ReplyDeleteoh my what do i say a couple of times a day? (i didn't mean for that to rhyme but it turned out rather clever, didn't it?) well 3 sons (sigh) and two of them quite young, i end up saying things like ""aaarrrrgggggggggghhhhh", "ooska, ooska" (my own word because often times they leave me speechless), and "for holy sake". when i am frustrated or perplexed by an adult i usually end up with "really???" under my breath. cheers!
ReplyDeleteYou've got to be kidding, thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletehmm....my favorite saying or rather, WHAT i've been saying lately is, "put some pants on!" i'm 6 and a half months preggo with my first, and am hot all the time! my husband always wants to turn the heat up, but he walks around in shorts and tees when we're bumming around the house, so i always yell to him, "PUT SOME PANTS ON!" (followed by, when you're pregnant, then YOU can touch the thermostat!) LOVE HIM :) marie5k@yahoo.com
ReplyDeleteHAPPY PANDA!!! I love the buttons!
ReplyDeleteSo yeah, -emotion- Panda seems to be what comes out of my mouth a lot. It seems to pop out of my mouth instead of other things. Y'know, "we can't do this" makes me go "sad panda", one of those awkward silences brings forth "awkward panda"...you get the gist.
embyrfire(at)hotmail(dot)com
I have lots of sayings but as I have a five year old right now it's - you get what you get and you don't throw a fit.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Seriously?! Love ya lovie.
ReplyDeletehaha that pretty much is what I say at all times
Phoenixpeacock(at)gmail(dot)com
If I'm being completely honest, it's probably; "What?" As I'm a bit hard of hearing. *blush*
ReplyDeleteHi there, lovely giveaway. I have a habit of adding "you know' to a lot of sentences. hard to break some habits, you know! LOL
ReplyDeletesandangels1945@hotmail.com
Hi love the give away Michele
ReplyDelete'NOOOOOO!' at the top of my voice whilst running after 2 or more cats....or may be it's 'Mr.T WILL YOU behave!' devil cat is always chasing the other three...poor loves...lol
The screams are beginning to work though....he's taken to chasing them but stopping at the bottom of the stairs to see if l'm in the chase too...mean while and it's usually Brupbrup or Splodge's head appears through the stair rails to see if he/we are still in pursuit!
Fun game hey!
The thing I say the most is very Australian and that is "it's all good" :)
ReplyDeleteI'm always saying happier then a tick on a fat hound! hahha.. it's just fun.
ReplyDeletednadams[at]gmail[dot]com
Hmmm, "You're addicted!" has been said a lot around here. My daughter seems always to be on Facebook.
ReplyDeletedeeadams@yahoo.com
I have a whole host of really dumb things I say on a daily basis? My friend's favorite is "for serious and real?" Thanks for the chance!
ReplyDeleteFun stuff! OK, a saying - "sew buttons on your underwear!"
ReplyDeleteLove the ice cream bucket! I don't think it's my favorite saying, but what I find myself saying (or asking) all the time is, "Does that make sense?"
ReplyDeleteloveeeeee it!!!!!! Keeep it up and share away! THanks for the cute giveaways! I usually say "To be honest..." Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I have a saying. And if I do, it's probably not fit to print here because it would be something I'd say while driving (and the air in the car would be "blue").
ReplyDeleteFrick!
ReplyDeletepicked that up from Scrubs, haha.
Happy Holidays!
zabecc(at)hotmail(dot)com
I frequently say, "That's awesome!"
ReplyDeleteHee hee. I am constantly saying "Whatever, Trevor" (or if I'm feeling especially spunky, "Whatev, Trev").
ReplyDelete"the only way to have a friend is to be one" - emerson
ReplyDeleteI used to say: "Oh fudge!" in high school. Now I find myself saying "Gracious!"
ReplyDeleteI use the word "honking" to describe something big or excessive. Such a cute giveaway!

ReplyDeleteoh my goodness! holy cow! oh sweet heavens!

ReplyDelete"No, that is mama's" is what I say most of the time, I have a very...active...2 year old. ;)
ReplyDelete(craftymom85atgmaildotcom)
I exclaim, "Oscar, nooooooo," with annoying regularity. Oscar is my most recent rescue and he is very persistent in his misbehaviors. Most recently, his favorite activity is removing the ornaments from the tree- one by one:)
ReplyDeleteThanks and Merry Christmas!
What a fun question to answer...my million times a day response is, "Get outta town!" I say it when I'm surprised at something. Not sure where I picked this one up from, but it's better than when I used to say "Shut up!" Elaine-style from the show Seinfeld.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance! Love your creations :)

Well apparently I say "Wahoo" - that's according to my daughter but I dispute it!!!!!! Love the giveaway - how clever are you:) Ciao

ReplyDeletexo Steph
"oh man i LOOOOVE _________"
ReplyDeleteand i LOOOOOVE your giveaway items!
thanks!
I tell my little girl 'You're a big girl, you can do it!" about 50 times every day. If its my husband, or anyone else, I frequently ask, 'honey, how hard would it be...?' the dots are usually some chore I want him to do.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway and I love your blog! (And your flickr!)
"Fabulous!" Even my 3 year old son says it now!

"I think you're beautiful." (to my granddaughters)
ReplyDelete"sometimes it happens."

ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!!
Ah a Michele with one "L"! My saying is probably "Use your inside voice!" VERY cute giveaway...thanks...
ReplyDeleteThis time of year it's "son of a nutcracker!"
ReplyDeleteMine is oh my goodness or be kind. Thanks for the chance.
ReplyDeleteReally? Really? A give away of fabulous things! Really... Love it all. Thanks for the chance to win--really!
ReplyDeleteWoohoo! This is a gorgeous giveaway stash. I love embroidering, and your little tin is LOVELY. Thanks for the chance to win!
ReplyDeleteI try to say to my little Stinker Bug, "That looks fun. Are you liking (eating your food, building a tower, coloring a picture, etc.)?" instead of praising him. This is very hard for me, but I am often successful! I also call him mean nicknames, like Stinker Bug!
I say lots of "oh really" and "wow". I'm always amazed at things, people, happenings.
ReplyDeleteSorry for being such a bad influence! ;-) I did read this yesterday, and I have been driving myself crazy trying to come with an answer. I might say, On y va, when I am trying to get the kids ready in the morning and Yes, I have a surprise for you, after coming home from work at night.
ReplyDeleteMy most used statement is "For Crying In A Bucket" My grandmother said it along with many others I have adopted over the years. She is gone now but she lives on through my own conversation. She could not have given me a greater gift. Than her Nanaisms. Thanks for the great giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI would have to say "Don't wake yo Daddy!"
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win a great prize.... Let's see I say "dude" way to much!
ReplyDeleteAround here the phrase is either "holy cats!" or "Uff da!". Ya shure you betcha!
ReplyDeletewohooooo...it will be great...but i am not lucky enough to win any thing...oops...well its good to know about it...hmmmm
ReplyDeletejeezopete, I did it again.
ReplyDeleteWHAT A GREAT IDEA!
ReplyDelete...is anexpression I would use to describe this post, and just about everything else on your site. I use it a lot. Probably too much. I can't help it. Those are the words that cross my mind ALL THE TIME.
Hmmm.....a seasonal expression that I have been reminded of, rather frequently, is "When snow lies on the ground, it's waiting for more." ....which appears to be very, very true these days.
Can't wait to see who wins!
HOLY HANNAH BATMAN...I have no idea where I came up with that one, but it just falls from my lips all the time. I love your blog and the things you do! So much inspiration! Bourrka@live.ca
ReplyDeleteVery interesting ! I am learning still ! .... Well, that's it ! It is what I say a lot at tthe moment , either in French: j 'apprends .... Or in English ! It is at the same time an alibi , an excuse, an aim , a phlilosophy of life , j 'apprends , you gotta learn , keep on learning ... And also maybe because I think about this singular picture where you have the word : teach , and its reflection is : learn ...I love your games , Michèle , you can show that us girls can speak chiffon AND philosophy at the same time , and language ... I have enriched mine here !!!!
ReplyDelete"Oh my."
ReplyDeletelol- I guess I am surprised a lot.
When my one of my grandsons sneeze, I say, "Scat, cat, go catch a rat!"
ReplyDeleteWhy? Who knows!
Your handiwork is beautiful. Thanks for the chance to win!
what a great treasure you are giving away.. i guess lots of baby talk is coming out of my mouth.. anything to make my sweet 4 month salma smile :)
ReplyDeleteMy husband says that I ask hundreds of time a day:is there news.
ReplyDeleteMost commonly: "Ezra Mark, you know better than that!!" because I have an almost three year old. :) lol
ReplyDeletebut otherwise it would probably be "whoopsy doopsy" which isn't really even an actual saying. I'm just weird and like to make stuff up.
"grumpy boots" - about my 6 month old. not sure where we picked it up from.
ReplyDeletelovely giveaway, thanks!
Oh man, I think I say "okey dokey" entirely too much!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the cool giveaway. Great prize! Now I'm off to check out your button posts!
my expression is, Find joy in the simple things and you will always be happy. I even put it on some of my kids' quilts. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI OFTEN say, "Oh my sakes!" I don't know how I came up with it, but I say it as a response to many things around our house! I'd love to bring back, "Heaven's to Mergatroid!" I'm sure my 5-yr-old would be SO confused.
ReplyDeleteLove those threads, by the way! Thanks for the chance to win!
justforthis917 [at] yahoo [dot] com
I think I say, "yes mom" a lot hoping to hear them say it instead of me! Funny eh?
ReplyDeleteA giveaway, woohoo!
ReplyDelete'woohoo' is my favourite expression of happiness, I say it all the time! woohoo!
"For Pete's sake!" I have no idea why, but apparently I do say it a lot because my daughter has now picked up on it. Maybe I'll peruse the other comments for a better one. Thanks so much for the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...that's a hard one. I think that it would have to be "Just a minute..." as I have 6 children and they have to take turns having my attention.
ReplyDeletewell, since I have a 3 yr old son the thing I say most is "Blaze please don't touch that." But my everyday saying is "Ya' think??"
ReplyDeleteI tend to say the word crap a lot which is not exactly what I am thinking at the time, something worse.
ReplyDeletejmclean at mts dot net
"Criminitly!" I picked that one up from Disney's Robin Hood. That's when I'm having an impatient and overwhelming day. My kids have a tendency to repeat themselves over and over and over, so on the normal days, my phrase is "STOP CHANTING!!!"
ReplyDeleteBy the way, do you do your own photography? It's really really good! I can't wait until I have a bit more time (after the kids go to sleep) to peruse your blog a bit more!
I don't have a catch phrase (at least, I don't think I do... maybe I should ask someone else). I do tell everyone "I love you" all the time though, so I'm picking that one. Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeletethanks for the giveaway! what is my favorite saying? probably when one of my kids calls me a 'best mom'. happy holidays
ReplyDeleteI love your giveaway!
ReplyDelete"UH OH! SPAGHETTIOS!" Is my usual saying, haha.
chrissie.bby14 at yahoo.com
Oh MY GOODNESS...is my phrase. I love what you did to that icecream bucket. Beautiful. Great idea. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteI think my most frequent saying right now is also child related and is along the lines of "Alex (or Oliver) NO!".
ReplyDeleteI'm trying harder to use more positive language
Great giveaway!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason, the saying that comes out of my mouth the most is "sounds like a plan, Oso." I have no idea why I started it, but it makes my kids laugh so I keep using it.
'Whatever'
ReplyDeleteThanks for a chance to win:)
Happy holidays
I have an almost 2yo, so I'm always saying "No, Jacob", "Don't touch that, Jacob" and "that's not for you Jacob".
ReplyDeleteThe grandparent's gift is sweet beyond all words. You have a special little kiddo!
ReplyDeleteWhat I say way too often:
"Yeah, I know, right?"
-Jerimi
jerimi (at) threecatlimit (dot) com
www.threecatlimit.com
I often say "For the love of Pete!"
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! I just discovered your blog and am loving it!
Are you serious? I say it way too much :)
ReplyDelete"shoot" or "I'm sick of these dolphins" (life aquatic)
ReplyDeleteJust want to say how much fun it's been reading all your comments! I'm having a blast over here!
ReplyDeleteThe thing I say most is probably "okay, here are your two choices...". Other strong contenders are "Yaaaar" (like a pirate) and "Oh for goodness sake!" (like Tasha from the Backyardigans) Can you tell I have littles? Used to be the first thing out of my mouth was "Oh for f***s sake!"
ReplyDeleteBTW, reading all these comments cracks me up.
Haha. I love the way you are having us enter.
ReplyDeletethe most common phrase right now is: "no touching"... while looking at my 21 month old who should know not to touch things that are not hers.
Thank you for the chance to win!
Holey Moley Nollie (my daughters name)
ReplyDeleteI say "really?" and "seriously?" far too often (and sarcastically) according to the people in my house...lol.
ReplyDeleteI say "Oh my gosh." a lot. I do say "shoot" too. I call my dog "Pook" even though his name is Milo. And sometimes when my son gets really hurt or something like that that makes me feel bad for him I will call him "Pook" too. It's weird. Thanks for the chance to win. Happy Christmas. stephspitzer at gmail dot com
ReplyDelete"are you kidding me?" or "seriously?" I seem to say that a lot. Thanks!
ReplyDelete"Fair enough" when I'm at work, "Sweetieeeeeeeeeee" at home while I chase my daughter around and try to remain calm. She is so quick!
ReplyDeletekennedycraft (at) aol (dot) com
I had so much fun reading the comments on what everyone says! lol Great idea!
ReplyDeleteI most often seem to be saying "Is it hot in here?" What can I say, you get to an age... lol

Hi ya. I really like your blog. I have a 2 year old who is a parrot - so if she is anything to go by I say "oh pickles" and "Okey Dokey" a whole lot. Thanks for the giveaway, please count me in

I think my grandkids can get this one....."TOO CUTE, You are just too cute". Lovely giveaway... I would be a happy winner if it found it way to my house. Thanks for the chance to win:)
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, it drives my husband crazy when I say, "Ay Chihuahua"! He's like "no, you are not a chihuahua"! Pretty funny for all.
ReplyDeleteThat's a hard one - at least for me, as I'm German and so my mother tongue is - German ;-)) But DH and me tend to say "... with an improved opinion of himself" (in English!) quite often. It comes from Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", and we both love this saying ;-))
ReplyDeleteThanks for this great giveaway, and THANKS for a wonderful, cool blog !!
You get what you get and you don't get upset - must say it 100 times a day :) Love your blog - beautiful creations. Thanks for sharing and for the chance to win :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite saying is "You know I love you more than my luggage" from the move Steel Magnolias! It can be used at lots of time and in lots of situations and I find it popping out of my mouth often. Thanks for a great giveaway!!!!
ReplyDeleteHaha! That's a dangerous question! I say "flustercluck" a LOT. "Isn't that just a giant flustercluck!"... it is usually accompanied with a lot of seam ripping. ... and tequila.. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks for a great giveaway! All the best to you and yours this season and always. xox

ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful giveaway! I LOVE the ice cream bucket.
ReplyDeleteI do say "my goodness" a whole lot. :)
I have so so many-love sayings! Some of my favs are Awesome! Party On! Rock On! What's happenin? Just Chillin! and often, for the kids, Welcome to my World! I could go on and on and on.... Also, I am so funny! (I am kind of sarcastic!)
ReplyDeletewhat a cool and pretty giveaway, my words are holy smokes! sometimes holy smokes batman! glad I followed a link from Mod podge rocks blog to you!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou'll find me saying something like "No Zach" most often (to my 3 year old) but it's not my favorite! This time of year, I'm reminded of one of my favorite movie quotes, from White Christmas, "Well I never. Without so much as a kiss my foot or have an apple!" And I *love* your boys' GPS idea. Wonderful creativity!
ReplyDeletewow, your half moon quilted scarf is gorgeous! will need to check out the tutorial...in fact, will need to add you to my reader, too many good things here to forget out! i love your felt work! ok, what comes out of my mouth...i sure hope it's not "because I said so"...in fact, im pretty sure i say "i love you" to the kids many more times...its like a contest with us...and it never gets old. thanks!
ReplyDeletePutting me on the spot with a saying!! :D Maybe LOL is what I type the most and :D, but maybe oh crap. Or Goodness gracious.
ReplyDeleteI am having a giveaway too, so if you have time feel free to stop by! http://hendrixville.blogspot.com/
I'm alone more often than not and I don't usually talk outloud to myself so I don't have a favourite saying! When my son is home it's probably 'what would you like to eat?' haha
ReplyDeleteWe call people "pomplemousse" (french for grapefruit) as like an insult without insulting them, i.e. "move your car, pomplemousse!" is our version of roadrage
ReplyDeleteJust stumbled across your blog today, and I LOVE it. 'LOVE' is a word I use a lot, I've got 2 kids at home and a great hubby. 'SWEETHEART' is said to my daughter a lot. 'BUDDY' is what I call my son, and 'BABE' is what I call the hubby. I use those 4 words quite a lot in a day. The most used phrase has got to be "Ain't that the way" it's from a song by Devon Sproule and I use it to refer to everything ironic...funny because I never use the word 'ain't' otherwise :)
ReplyDeleteI say so many things over and over - such is the life of a SAHM!! I think I overuse, "You have got to be kidding me"!! I catch myself saying it all the time and cringe!!
ReplyDelete1flatlakegirl@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteRight now its the obnoxious (REALLY)or (WHATS UP BUTTERCUP?)or POP-A-SQUAT>>bathroom terminology!! uhuhmmm
hmmm I can't think of a favorite phrase. But our friend's 4 year old randomly said "Offen mine shoes" one day, like she's german or something (she's not). So occasionally we say that when we take off our shoes! haha
ReplyDeleteLove the giveaway! Thanks!
Ain't nothin' simple! I can't count how many times I say that, and it's the truth! Thanks for your giveaway.
ReplyDeleteI would say that the words I say most are..... BE CAREFUL BOYS & SLOWLY SLOWLY!! my boys are 23months and 3yrs!!! it's all about damage limitation at my house!! what a fab way to host a giveaway and your first too! very good!!! plus I love buttons vintage and crochet!! a winner in my book!!
ReplyDeleteThe saying that (unfortunately) passes through my lips too often...daily...is "good grief!".

ReplyDeleteI think I mainly say those fighting the traffic to and from work, but they can pop up any time of day. =)
Thank you so much for the giveaway. It was very generous of you.
I'm afraid my oldest Granddaughter watched a lot of Dora. Now the whole family goes around saying Ohhhhhhhhh Mannnnnnnnnn!
ReplyDelete"Uh, oh, so sad..." and "That was a good choice."

it's not my favorite quote, but I most say it alot, since the kids (5 & 3) are repeating it...."what the hell?!?!?" i use this when I can't find something..something not working..or the mess that the kids just made after I just cleaned up.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great giveaway!!
Well, my kids say it is
ReplyDelete"Ahhh my house is sooo messy"
I do say that a lot!
A lovely collection of treats. Upcycling, buttons, embroidery and lace. A girl after my own heart!. I hope my saying isn't your favourite too!
