The Boy Does Stop-Motion

Happy Monday!

We had a lovely, peaceful, mostly tech-free, tenting-in-the-wild-woods-of-Northern-Ontario holiday. But it sure is good to be back here at home and sleeping in an actual real-life bed. How are you? Well, I hope.

Today I've uploaded a small stop-motion animation project we all worked on together as a family. It is very short, and dare I say it, quite experimental, springing mostly from the mind of our sweet 7 year-old boy. I often wonder what goes on inside that little brain of his... Here now, for your viewing pleasure, is a little taste!
Creator: The Boy
Sound: The Boy
Photography: Michele
Video Assemblage: Lo
Starring: Newspaper circles, green marker, plastic letters as Themselves
Cameo Appearances: The Boy and his cute little knee. His hands. My left hand.
Technical Support: Lo. And Lo. Lo again. And lastly, Lo.

I'm off to catch up on comments and blogs and all that craftospheric internetty stuff. You have a great day!

Love those circles, I’m working on my 2nd Tangled Textiles challenge quilt and I’m using circles. Next challenge I might ask The Boy for a design!!

  10. Love it! I like how you incorporated your sons voice in the background. I've been wanting to make one of these with my son using Legos. How long did it take you to make? Did you use a digital camera?

I smell an Oscar on the way!
Made my day! The soundtrack was the real showstopper in my book--innovative! Remind me of those snippets on Gumby and between segments on early Sesame Street. So, so, so COOL. Kudos to you all!!!
