Interviewed on The Craftypod Podcast... Me!

What a surreal and exciting day... Today is the release of Diane Gilleland's April 2012 Earth Day episode of The Craftypod Podcast. And guess who Diane interviewed this time 'round?... Yes. Yes, that's right, it was me!

It's a little crazy, isn't it?

What did we talk about? Good question... It's a blur honestly... Because I was so very nervous and in awe of meeting this amazing woman on the phone. But, um, we talked about crafts. And basically why I do what I do here on Michele Made Me.

It was my first interview ever of this kind. You know? Like with actual words and sound and stuff?... Diane is one of those genuinely kind, generous, and all-around brilliant souls, so it was really fun discussing the crafty thing with her. Okay, well... I shan't dilly dally any longer. Here's the link. I hope you enjoy it. Eep.

Craftypod Podcast: Creative Reuse and Crafting with Michele Pacey

Diane, thank you so much for inviting me to be on your show. I think it's so nifty that you did. It was an honour and a joy to meet you on the telephone. One of my goals is to one day meet you in actual person. Wouldn't that be nice?

Well you have a great weekend. Oh yes, and happy Earth Day!

  5. Congrats, Michele! I haven't listened yet but I want to tell you this:

Two days ago I came to your blog and you featured an old towel being reborn into a potholder. That image was such an encouragement to me. Your blog is really about redemption, y'know. It's about "making all things new" (biblical phrase). I don't do a lot of crafting in this way, and yet I love to visit your blog. It's an encouragement to me. Thank you for these redemption stories.

  6. I just started my Earth Day weekend listening to the podcast over morning java (I actually have never listened to a podcast before - I don't have a MP3 player so it was kind of like magic that it worked). Excellent and inspiring interview.

  7. Wonderful podcast! I was inspired to stash cardboard tubes- but discovered that they made wonderful firestarters (stuff with twigs for kindling). I love your ingenuity, and what if I did ...

  13. Never told you I listened to it and enjoyed! What a thrill to be able to 'meet' one of your crafty inspirations and be featured on her show. It was fun to hear your voice and musings on re-making things...especially enjoyed hearing about the Boy's weights. ; )
