A Happy New 2015 Year to you!
How are you?
Wonderfully well, I hope.
I, myself, am well. We had a lovely holiday season. Quiet. Small. While our little family usually galavants about the Canadian country side hither and thither all holidays, this year we stayed put. And I, for one, enjoyed the slower pace.
Which brings me to my New Year's resolution. That's right, there's only one. But it's a biggie for me. And it is this: patience. Having it, getting it, practicing it, growing it, breathing it, eating it for breakfast.
Yes, I am an impatient person. I like things done now, man. And I like them done in a certain way. Don't make me wait. Don't ask me silly questions. Just do it. And do it right, or you will regret it.
You see what I mean? It's a problem. It's a real and abiding problem. It is a tenacious beast that I wrestle with every single day. So this year? This year is the year. This year, I take a deep breath, and I tackle the beast.
Wish me luck.

P.S. Made more 3-1/2 inch blocks to go with these babies. I've added a couple yellow Hour Glass blocks, a blue Churndash, and a pink 'n yellow Eight-Pointed Star Variation. Busy and impatient little bee.
Gah, that's a hard one. I need it in bucketloads, but there's no point, I'd be impatient on the being patient. Can't fuss with the way I am, I says. Happy New Year, and good luck.
ReplyDeleteThat's why I decided to have only one resolution. If there's any chance of getting a handle on it, then I will have to focus. I hope you have a lovely year, Katie!
DeleteHi Michele, happy new year!!! I need to work on my patience too. But, my goal is to be more energized this year, get out more, move more, and be more upbeat! I love your blocks. They are so sweet!!
ReplyDeleteOo, that's a great New Year's resolution Ariane. I wish you a very energized new year. :)
DeleteGood luck Michele. I know you can do it, however big it is - so Happy New Year and best wishes! Hugs Nat

DeleteHappy, Smiling and Creative New Year, Michele!
ReplyDeleteI believe you will do your best to become a little bit more patient person!
Keep the enthusiasm throughout the year and I hope the fruits will be sweet!:)
I like your patchwork a lot!
Thank you Rossichka, that is the key to solving the problem, I think, keeping enthused about it. All one can do is try, right? Happy New Year to you! :)
DeleteI just spent an hour "organizing" my craft space and, alas, I have given up on scraps as small as yours. But, your patches are lovely and cozy and give me something pretty to view.
ReplyDeleteJust found your blog, and have been perusing. Your creations make me smile.
