WOW. I love this. I don't know what it is exactly about it but I love it. I think I need to come back to it again later to see. It has movement but stillness at the same time. (it's possible I'm making no sense at the moment).
Wow Michele! This is gorgeous ( like everything you do) but this has such complexity and depth. Like Gwen said above, it looks 3D and I too thought it was sculpture.
Once again, amazed by your ability to transform paper. "Waiting" is a wonderful and spooky piece. It should be in some juried shows or in a gallery! Ooh - it's in your gallery - which is fixing to be a pretty incredible place.
When I first looked at this, I though it was sculpture. It looks three dimensional. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAmazing work Michele!! You were able to create such depth.

ReplyDeleteBeatiful....
ReplyDeleteSo cool. I love how you are sourcing your paper.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cool Michelle. I was surprised to see it's size - it could be 5' square!
ReplyDeleteRemarkable piece! Great job and reuse!
ReplyDeleteWonderful. I thought the kraft paper was a sculpture too, the entire piece has such a three dimensional quality to it.
