Again. If you can believe it.

Give you one guess as to who belongs to this broken arm.

Give you one guess as to how we're feeling about that.

Hint: here.

♥M

The artwork was verbally created and designed by The Boy, and executed in marker by me.

  2. No Way! This is photoshopped! Poor Boy... or poor Mom? Anyway, I love the art on the plaster!

  6. Wow! Well let's hope that's the last broken bone EVER!

  7. I'd say that he is pretty immobilized now with two injuries -- but, alas, having taught 2nd graders for most of my very long career, I know that probably isn't so. Good luck trying to keep an eye on him!!!!

  8. Oh no, I hope what people say about things happening in threes really isn't true! Sounds like he's a normal, active child. My daughter broke her arm in a horseback riding accident and the next day I found her trying to jump rope in the living room, sling and all. Now she's 22!

  11. Oh the poor thing! My younger brother did a similar thing in his early teens - broke one arm during school sports and then about a week later he fell over (goofing around from memory ...!), of course his natural instinct was to protect the broken arm so he put out the other to break his fall and broke that arm too.

Loving the artwork and that you took the time to sit there and do it for him, very cool :)

  19. Ughhhh!! That's really crappy...and just as the summer is about to start too. He's just too fast and has so much energy. I guess all you can do is make the best of it. And i see you've done that with the nice art work. Hugs to both of you!!

  21. I do not believe this happened. Poor, poor boy - and right at the start of summer. At the very least, whether or not he knows it, he is in the very best care and I am sure your creative mind will find ways to help him forget the things he can not do.

This was not what I had in mind when i sent wished for him to heal and be splint free in record time. Just breaks my heart.

  22. Perhaps he's just getting it all out of the way at once! Great art.
    Swift mending wishes.

  23. Hopefully the weight of the cast will slow him down! Hugs!

sounds like you've had your hands full!
thank goodness kids are quick to heal.
maybe you should just go ahead & cast his other arm & legs as a preventative measure : )
