All parts of this small collage were cut from sale flyers and the local newspaper. I used favourite bits of yellow, grey, black and white for this one. The bits were then attached "improvisationally" with Mod Podge to a piece of paper stretched and stapled onto an old unused picture frame.
I'm calling it "Parallels".

DeleteThis is so cool. I haven't collaged in years...likely ever since quilting took over! Now the only collating I do is on Big Huge Labs ; ). I love the balance and line in this work Michele!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Krista. I find similarities between quilting and collage. The mixing of colour and texture in a finite space. But collage is smaller (usually) and faster. Fun stuff. :)
