In Dutch we call it "kerststal" a Christmas stable, it 's a real Christmas ornament for under the tree. It was in the beginning just only for the Catholics, and they appear in all sorts and shapes.... love yours, enjoying your skills. Remind me of the time I made one with "duplo and lego animals" :) no way I could make a thing like you did..
Ah, it looks like paper mache? Or is it egg carton like other readers have mentioned above? Love this little baby in a crib of straw. Can't wait to see what else you're hatching to go along with him.
Yeah I was just about to say that's baby Jesus for a nativity scene but others have already put that in the comments :) It looks absolutely A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E!!
